Modern lighting concepts demand flexibility, accuracy and visual comfort. BIONIQ answers these requirements with a refined technical design that allows light to be adjusted precisely on site, without compromise. A wide spectrum of beam angles, from highly focused accents to generous wide flood distributions, enables both accent and general lighting within one consistent system. Excellent glare control ensures calm, comfortable lighting atmospheres and a confident architectural presence.
Perfect Adjustable
BIONIQ spotlights are designed for precise on-site alignment. With up to 350° rotation and 30° tilting, light can be directed exactly where it is needed. This high level of adjustability makes BIONIQ a reliable design tool for flexible layouts and evolving project requirements.
IP65 as Standard
BIONIQ spotlights are designed with IP65 protection as standard, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The robust construction makes the system suitable for areas exposed to moisture, dust or water spray, including wet areas and protected outdoor applications.

BIONIQ is conceived as a coherent system that supports different lighting tasks while maintaining a uniform appearance.
Light Colours
From super warm to functional white light, BIONIQ offers a broad range of colour temperatures. With the introduction of 2400 K, the system is ideal for creating warm, cozy atmospheres – especially in residential and hospitality applications. Tunable White versions further expand the range.
Beam Characteristics
SPOT, MEDIUM, FLOOD and WIDE FLOOD distributions ensure the right light for every task – from focused accents to wide-area illumination. High-performance lens technology delivers both high efficiency and precise beam control, including superspot options for sharp, high-impact highlights.
Optics
Interchangeable optics allow precise fine-tuning of the light effect. Available options include honeycombs, spread lenses and linear spread lenses. Up to two optical accessories can be combined to refine beam shape, glare control and overall light effect, depending on the requirements of the project.
Secondary Reflector Options
Different reflector finishes allow visual fine-tuning of the light appearance. The optional Anti-Reflection Coated (ARC) cone in glossy black reduces glare without reflections while maintaining high efficiency.
Protection
With IP65 protection as standard, the sealed construction ensures long-term durability in demanding environments. For applications focused on vertical illumination, the BIONIQ WALLWASH version is designed with an IP20 rating.
Sizes & Cut-outs
Three sizes with defined cut-outs ensure a consistent appearance across different zones. The scalable system supports clear and reliable project planning.
Precise Adjustment
Smooth rotation and tilting allow accurate beam alignment on site. Visible degree markings ensure consistent results across multiple luminaires.
Zero Light Leakage
A light-tight rear design prevents unwanted light emission. Light is directed exclusively forward – ideal for perforated or acoustic ceilings and clean architectural integration.
Designed for efficient installation
BIONIQ supports fast, clean and reliable installation on site.
The installation ring is supplied as a separate component in the same box and can be mounted early during construction, keeping the luminaire protected while finishing works are completed.
Trimless versions can be installed using a dedicated PROLICHT double-level hole saw, ensuring precise ceiling preparation and a perfectly flush result. The same tool can also be used for recessed installations by removing the rear section, while standard hole saws remain compatible for recessed versions.
The tool-free extraction mechanism allows maintenance or reconfiguration without damaging the ceiling.
Keep your Installation evolving
Lighting requirements change over time. BIONIQ is designed to adapt.
Once installed, luminaires can be rotated and tilted easily to fine-tune the beam and achieve the perfect focus for the space. Optics such as honeycombs and lenses can be added, exchanged or combined tool-free directly on site – even after installation. This allows the lighting concept to evolve together with the architecture, without replacing the luminaire.
